The Earth Series transforms environmental research into tactile relief artworks. Each work focuses on a specific human activity or planetary process, from fossil-fuel extraction and industrialised animal agriculture to consumerism, deforestation and rising temperatures.
The originals are small relief artworks crafted from hand-picked sand, natural mineral pigments, discarded wood, stone powder, natural micas, and other earth-derived materials, all bound with biodegradable mediums. Their surfaces carry the colour of an environmental issue: white for microplastic, silver for industrialised animal agriculture, red for industrial process.
