ecological Art shaped from waste

Vegesent

I am Veronika a Finnish artist, head of sustainable development and art education in Helsinki International Artists Association. My practice explores human–animal relations and ecological systems through conceptual, material-based work. Using repurposed and sustainable materials, I create minimal, tactile abstractions where reduction and texture carry meaning.

Research on production animals and consumption informs works that address ethical distance and perception, focusing on how material culture shapes our relationship to non-human life.

I am utterly amazed by the extraordinary talent of this artist, which has completely changed the way I see and appreciate art.

I greatly admire that many pieces serve as a call to action, shedding light on significant issues caused by human activities. From the degradation of land to the alarming rise in global temperatures due to the burning of fossil fuels and animal agriculture, this artist’s work serves as a powerful reminder of the urgent need for change.

Mission

Ethical artistry cares for people, the environment, and animals.

I strongly believe in the universal values of kindness, justice, compassion, and conscious action toward both humans and other animals. My work addresses the overlooked biases and oppression faced by environmentalist and vegan communities.

Through my art, I am committed to promoting sustainability. My approach focuses on reducing waste and minimizing environmental impact in every step of the process.
