Trash to treasure

Treasure is a series made from repurposed and upcycled materials, where traces of human consumption become the main visual language of the work. The surfaces carry layered textures, blurring the boundary between organic matter and manufactured waste. Rather than focusing on consumption as a measure of value, the series reflects on how everyday materials continue to exist within new contexts and relationships.

The series points beyond human-centred perspectives, suggesting attention to other sentient beings and wider ecological systems. In this way, Treasure becomes a reflection on coexistence, material memory, and the shifting relationship between humans and the modern world.
