ART MATERIALS ALIGNED WITH SUSTAINABLE CRUELTY-FREE VALUES
EMBRACE SUSTAINABILITY, CRUELTY-FREE PRACTICES, LIFELONG QUALITY, AND HEALTH SAFETY
As artist I am proud to create statement art that reflects my commitment to sustainability, cruelty-free practices, and the creation of high-quality art installations that stand the test of time.
My carefully selected range of materials and suppliers ensures not only the longevity of the modern geometrical artwork but also owner’s health and well-being. Join me in investing in contemporary art that aligns with our shared (hopefully:)) values and makes a positive impact on the world.
Archival Quality
To ensure my minimalistic artworks retain their quality for years to come I protect them from cracks, sunlight and mould with natural varnish, made with plant based archival ingredients using time tested recipes from the renaissance. Provided by most reputable European art-suppliers, all materials used in modern artworks by Vegesent have archival qualities, meaning they are resistant to deterioration or discoloration over time.
Natural corn starch non-toxic solidifier with high-quality organic pigments result in vibrant and long-lasting colours. They determine contemporary artworks' durability and how well they withstand the test of time. My statement artworks are designed to resist yellowing, fading, or deterioration caused by environmental factors.
Natural materials
Statement artworks are inspired by Finnish nature. Choice of natural materials: flax, reclaimed wood, sterilized earth material and organic pigments, holds conceptual significance in Vegesent textural art, it is used to represent environmental connection and contribute to well being.
Every canvas is a unique texture made of locally picked environmental materials combined with biodegradable solidifier. The visual appeal of natural elements in textured surfaces adds depth and a dynamic quality to the artwork, contributing to the overall design and ambiance of the contemporary minimalist space.
Non-allergic and toxic-free
I prioritize safety of art-supplies’ workers and statement art’s owners, that is why I choose only materials free from gassing off dangerous chemicals, which is common in cheaper prints and reproductions. My artworks’ surfaces are non-peeling over time, resist mold and mildew growth making them non-allergic and contain no VOCs (Volitile Organic Compounds).
All pigments are organic. Vegesent statement art does not contain any amount of Cadmium, Cobalt, Nickel, Carbon black, Chromium, Lead and Crystalline Silica. The ASTM D-4236, certification for the U.S. and R.E.A.CH European Community Regulation on chemicals guarantee that the product is not toxic and safe to use.

Eco-friendly
I invest in art-materials known for their durability and longevity like linen canvas stretched on reclaimed wood frames. Linen is derived from the flax plant, which is a renewable resource. Flax grows quickly and requires fewer pesticides and fertilisers compared to other crops. It is also biodegradable, unlike synthetic canvases, which are made from materials like polyester or nylon, have a higher carbon footprint and contribute to the depletion of non-renewable resources.
Sustainability is a multifaceted concept, and highly quality material choice of Vegesent minimalist art is just one aspect of a sustainable artistic practice. I also pay attention to responsible waste disposal and renewable green energy consumption during the creation process.
Sustainably sourced
I use only sustainably sourced materials or the ones, that I collect myself locally. I prioritise discarded materials, unwanted and forgotten, repurposing them and giving them second life in my artworks. By this practise I contribute to clean and healthy planet.
All of the pigments are mined sustainably from small, family-owned quarries, never used child labor and also in a way where no pollution is created from the process.
Vegan and Cruelty-free
Animal derivatives are traditional and common in art supplies and may contain bone char, gelatin, ox gall, rabbit collagen, eggs, hair of sables, pigs, and squirrels.
Vegesent states that vegonomy and social normalisation of anti-cruel vegan beliefs are the keys to a kind and fair world. I double check all of the art-supplies through direct contact with the European manufacturers. All my carefully chosen materials are vegan and cruelty-free.
LIFELONG QUALITY ECO-ART
Sustainability and responsibility form the cornerstone of Vegesent's art and activism strategy. I prioritize minimizing our environmental footprint, as well as promoting the well-being of people and animals.
This commitment is reflected in my conscientious selection of materials, ethical business partnerships, and responsible behavior. Furthermore, I actively contribute to and support initiatives that align with my values, aiming to make a positive difference in the world.
By integrating sustainability and responsibility into every aspect of my operations, I strive to create a harmonious and thriving ecosystem for all.
