CONCEPT:

The ocean is the blue on earth surface.

Industrial fishing has expanded globally. The catch is in decline as fish stocks are depleted.

By 2048, all commercially exploited fish stocks could collapse if current trends continue.

The work is built from hand-picked sand, blue earth pigment, and biodegradable cellulose, with a textured surface on canvas. The blue is the metaphor for the ocean.

The work opens the structure of industrial power: legal extraction, corporate control, and the demand that keeps the ocean's depletion unseen.
