Ocean Pollution

I explore the interconnectedness of environmental threats, from climate change to chemical pollution, in works of the Earth series. 

My deep blue artworks are crafted to serve as windows into the hidden threats of ocean pollution. I experiment with textures and layers that mirror the depths of the ocean and the complex threats it faces. Using biodegradable earth materials, I create blue-hued pieces that evoke the beauty and fragility of marine ecosystems while emphasizing the pressing environmental issues beneath the surface.

Through my art, I aim to reveal the unseen dangers lurking in our oceans, challenging the "out of sight, out of mind" mentality that often surrounds ocean pollution. The staggering impact of industries like fishing, which threatens marine life to the extent that the ocean may hold more plastic than fish in 15 years, drives my creative process. My artworks are not just visual pieces but a call to action—urging viewers to reconsider their relationship with the ocean, support sustainable practices, and make more conscious choices to ensure the future health of our blue planet.

Unconventional art materials align with the philosophical concept of the artworks, emphasizing well-being, respect, and kindness.

Water-based plastic-free paints are plant-based and cruelty-free. Uniquely formulated without use of fossil fuels and non-toxic.

The blue pigment is made of azurite mineral.

This pigment is sourced from quarries in France, prioritizing the protection of employee rights. Art materials are approved in Europe and USA, non-allergic and free from hazardous fumes (VOC).

The estimated delivery times from the time the parcel is shipped from Helsinki:

EU zone within 1–3 working days and elsewhere in the world within 2–8 working days. Only formalities in the customs of the destination country may affect the delivery times.

RETURN: The art can be returned within 7 days of receiving the package. Unfortunately, buyer is responsible for covering the postage and any other expenses related to the return, including secure packaging. If a package is not picked up, the costs of return will be deducted from the purchase price before reimbursement.

These artworks are of archival quality and durability, comparable to those of the old masters.

Dust paintings regularly using a dry, soft and fine brush. Don’t use cleaning products or water.

Artworks are crafted with biodegradable materials, with degradation rates varying based on environmental conditions. It is recommended to place them in environments with low humidity and temperatures between 14ºC and 40ºC.
