Art description:

Silver artwork is crafted from natural earth materials, finished in silver mica that reflect the cold, mechanised nature of modern industrial animal agriculture facilities. Being part of the Earth Series — the series about human activities driving the climate crisis — this artwork focuses on industrialized animal agriculture as one of the main drivers of the climate crisis, equivalent to the transportation emissions sector.

While the animal agriculture industry is one of the most influential on governments and supported by billions of taxpayers’ money, it remains one of the least-discussed causes of the crisis, mentioned in only 4% of media publications.

Ninety percent of animals are raised and slaughtered in closed facilities. Undercover investigators who volunteer to rescue injured animals and document lawbreaking behavior inside these facilities are sentenced as domestic terrorists.

Meanwhile, 82% of the world’s starving children live in countries where food crops are used to feed animals consumed by wealthier populations. The solution available to the general public is to stop supporting the industry through conscious consumer choices and plant-based diet.

Please note that every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
