  • The world has reached a tipping point on issues such as social inequality, animal abuse, and the environmental crisis. Conceptual art addresses challenges our Earth facing due human activity.

Artwork in white color represents plastic items like bottles, packaging, and fibers, which degrade and break down into smaller and smaller pieces over time.

Microplastics are tiny plastic particles, less than 5mm in size, have infiltrated every corner of our world - from the deepest oceans to the highest mountains. A recent study found microplastics in 88% of protein-rich foods, like meat and seafood.

But the impact extends far beyond our plates. Microplastics have been detected in human blood, with unknown long-term health consequences. estimated that we each consume the equivalent of a credit card's worth of plastic every week. Even more staggering, a 2017 study found microplastics in 83% of tap water samples worldwide.

The climate impact is equally concerning. Plastic production and disposal generate greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to 189 coal-fired power plants. Microplastics also absorb other pollutants, transporting toxins through the food chain.

To protect our health and the planet, we must take action. Support legislation banning single-use plastics, choose plastic-free products in a compostable packaging, and advocate for sustainable alternatives. The future of our environment is in our hands.
